Clients pick items on the site; the manager sees availability and builds shipment from accounting.
Task
A price list went out as an Excel file once a week and aged immediately. Clients called “is this still available?”. Managers spent the day answering stock questions.
Constraints
A full self-serve store with online payment was not required. Needed a catalog with a request and honest availability.
Solution
Catalog with filters, units and packing. Availability comes from warehouse accounting. A quote request goes to CRM with the request basket contents.
Result
Clients see what is current. Managers do not retype lists from email. Warehouse picks an agreed composition — not “that Tuesday file”.
